About The Pastor - Rev. Dr. Johnathan K. Greene Sr.

The Reverend Dr. Johnathan K. Greene Sr. is married to Hope Johnson Greene and they have 3 children. Chaquetta Greene, Johnathan K. Greene Jr., and Charity Greene.
Presently, Reverend Dr. Greene is the pastor of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, which is located in the historic city of Little River, South Carolina.
Reverend Dr. Greene is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Because Reverend Dr. Greene had a desire to work in field of Human Services, he matriculated to Webster University and received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Resources Development.
After much prayer and hard work, Reverend Dr. Greene went back to school to pursue theological education. This resulted in him receiving and being awarded his Masters of Divinity from Payne Theological Seminary, Wilberforce, Ohio.
Presently, Reverend Dr. Greene is a graduate of Columbia International University (CIU) Doctorate of Ministry degree Program.
Reverend Dr. Greene has done postgraduate studies through the University of South Carolina and South Carolina State University in the field of Rehabilitation Counseling.
Reverend Dr, Greene has worked in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation for over (10) years and this provided him with the love of assisting individuals in career development. His love for Career Development led him to work at Florence Darlington Technical College as a Workforce Readiness manager. Presently, Reverend Dr. Greene works for Florence School District One as a Career Counselor providing Work Based Learning.
As the former Sons of Allen Coordinator for the Marion District, Reverend Dr. Greene got the opportunity to work with 34 churches assisting them in developing effective men’s ministry.
Presently. Reverend Dr, Greene is the Christian Education Director for those same (34) churches providing training and educational material for the local churches.
And Reverend Dr. Greene serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Northeast South Carolina Annual Conference.
Reverend Dr. Greene’s motto is that he continues to be a vessel, an instrument to be used by God.
